Paul N. LaFata, DPM

Dr. Paul N. LaFata is a 1968 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine He completed his residency at Guiffre Medical Center in Philadelphia. He has been in active practice at the same location for 34 years. Dr. LaFata is a past president of the Berks County and Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association. He is on the staff of The Reading Hospital and Medical Center and the St. Josephs Hospital. He has been a consultant in Podiatry at Pennsylvania Blue Shield and Medicare and has been active in the state and national Podiatric activities. He has lectured to many patient groups on the subject of diabetic foot care and has written several articles published in the Berks County Medical Society Journal.

Paul C. LaFata, DPM

Dr. Paul C. LaFata is a native of Reading. He is a 1999 graduate of The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio. He completed a 4 year residency in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Following completion of his residency program, Dr. LaFata traveled to Athens, Greece to pursue additional training in deformity correction of the foot and ankle.

He completed an orthopedic fellowship in reconstruction of limb deformity at the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Center for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopedics located in Kurgan, Russia.

Dr. Paul C. LaFata performs reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Hospital, The Reading Hospital SurgiCenter At Spring Ridge, and Reading SurgiCenter.

Dr. LaFata is very active in the community and often lectures on common deformities of the feet. He is an active teacher to the younger Foot and Ankle Surgeons at the hospital in which he trained. Dr. Paul C. LaFata is happy to be able to serve in the community in which he was raised.
